To Us!

I made this card for my Man!  Last Sunday marked 3 years of dating for us!

First I embossed some glossy Cardstock

Then I was experimenting with Alcohol inks, I wanted to "color" some of the hearts.  First I tried using the corner of a piece of felt (that was disastrous!).  Next I tried using a q-tip, and this worked much better!  It's not perfect, but my boyfriend won't care!  I also filled in some of the hearts with Stickles.

Then I did some stamping and cutting and put the rest of the card together!

Materials: A2 card base from Michaels, HP Glossy photo paper, Heart brads from Oriental Trading, Core'dinations cardstock, Stickles and Distress Stickes, Cricut, Cricut Sweethearts cartridge, Distress Ink: Barn door red, Creative Imaginations Love Stamps, Foam squares from Hobby Lobby, Tim Holtz Alcohol Inks, Sizzix Texture Boutique, Provo Craft embossing folder, and Glue Glider Pro

I made this in an attempt to make something a little more "boyish" than my usual style, hahaha!  It's very simple, but i think most males would approve, don't you?

Materials: Cricut Create, Vintage Photo Distress Ink, The Paper Studio Card stock, and Cuttlebug A2 embossing folder: Script texture

Scrapbooking Therapy!

After school was over all I wanted to do was scrapbook!  So I started experimenting and this is what I came up with.  I recently got a Ranger Craft Sheet and I wanted to try out transfering Distress Inks from the craft sheet to paper.  So, I rubbed  tumbled glass, crushed olive, and dusty conchord distress ink on the craft sheet in stripes and then pressed a sheet of white cardstock into it and this background is what I came up with.  I am pretty excited with the results, I love experimenting!

Supplies:  Core'dinations white cardstock, Ranger craft sheet, Tim Holtz Distress Inks, Cricut Create, Cricut Cartridge: Jasmine, Recollections flowers and lace, The Paper Studio pearls, decorative fibers from gifted memories, Ribbon by Ribbon FX and recycled, and Jewel by the Beadery.
